When traveling in Cambodia I decided that we would just take the bus - but I’m speechless. We’ve really enjoyed Cambodia.  As is common with this type of traveling we’ve met some amazing people.  We’ve gained huge insight into a culture we knew very little about.  We’ve learned about a horrifying recent historical event that we were embarrassingly ignorant of.  Overall, we’ve loved most of our month long visit BUT being scammed at the border sucks!  Excuse the language bu.. read more

Please UNESCO, protect this area now.  For those of you who haven’t heard of Bagan, it’s akin to Angkor Wat of Cambodia & Machu Picchu in Peru.  It lies smack dab in the middle of Myanmar and it’s two thousand plus temples, monasteries, stupas and pagodas are begging for exploration.  Really, really cool.  In terms of tourism, it’s hardly been discovered but the numbers are picking.. read more
