We are in Amsterdam!  It’s amazing to see so much water and canals that run through the city.  In addition to the many tall, narrow houses, many people have house boats that they live in.  In this huge, busy city there’s one place that has trees, a lake and many fun activities.  It’s Amsterdamse bos – or Amsterdam Forest!  Yesterday we visited this place called Fun Forest in Amsterdamse bos. Van Gogh, a very famous painter. It seems like everybody knows who he is.  A museum captures all of his paintings and puts them on display. The Van Gogh museum is where we all went today. The very fascinating paintings that he drew were just magnificent. The painting Sunflowers was displayed there as well. Next to Starry Night Sunflowers is one of his most famous paintings. Bouncing on the moss fields near Thingvellir.

I loved every bit of Iceland! The different shades of green, the mountains, and the waterfalls are all spectacular.  I’m so excited that I’m going to Amsterdam but sad that I’m leaving Iceland. My favorite part was probably the glacier walk and the glacier boat ride though the lagoon. The people are very friendly and nice and help out when people need help. Their towns are very small and beautiful. Many people there speak Icelandic and English so it wasn’t very hard getting around by asking people where…
